On Monday, Sept. 8, the 19th Annual Davis Health System Foundation Golf Classic teed off in spectacular fashion at the prestigious Pete Dye Golf Club, raising more than $49,000 for vital community health initiatives.

With nearly 100 enthusiastic golfers hitting the greens in a competitive shotgun scramble format, the event proved once again to be a hole-in-one for charity.

Blue Ridge Risk Partners proudly returned as the Signature Sponsor, underscoring their unwavering commitment to community health.

“Our sponsors and golfers are invaluable partners in addressing the health care needs of our community,” said Cindee Campbell, Blue Ridge Risk Partners’ client relationship manager and vice president of the Foundation’s Board of Directors. “Combining fun with philanthropy for such a worthy cause is fantastic.”

Leaderboard Sponsors who helped make this event a success included Radiological Physician Associates Inc. (RPA), Davis Trust Company, Master Service Corp. and Hart Office Solutions.

Also showcasing their support by fielding teams were MegaCorp; Citizens Bank of WV; David Goldberg, President and CEO of Vandalia Health Mon Medical Center and Executive Vice President of Vandalia Health-Northern Region; Vandalia Health CAMC; Reckart Logistics; LabCorps; Northern Eagle; CPS Solutions; Phil Chua, DO, Roaster Barbell; Cvechko Insurance Services; Robert Borror Logging; Encova Insurance; PNC Bank; and Busch, Zurbuch & Thompson.

The competition was fierce, but top honors went to:

All proceeds from the event will directly benefit residents across Randolph, Tucker, Barbour, Upshur, Pocahontas and Webster counties.

The funds will support the Davis House, which offers cancer patients and their families a comforting “home away from home” during trips to the Vandalia Health Cancer Center in Elkins.

The Foundation also provides essential patient care equipment, benevolent care funds, patient support services, and scholarships for local students pursuing careers in health care.

“We are overwhelmed by the generosity and support shown by our community,” said Ron Andro, Senior Vice President of Davis Health System and Chief Administrative Officer of Vandalia Health Davis Medical Center. “Every dollar raised will go directly toward enhancing patient care and ensuring our providers have the resources they need to deliver the highest quality of care right here at home.”

Mark your calendars for next year’s event, as the 20th Annual Davis Health System Foundation Golf Classic returns to the Pete Dye Golf Club on Monday, Sept. 7, 2026.
