Dustin Washington

Dustin Washington, age 26, passed away peacefully on October 1, 2023.

He was born March 19, 1997, in Elkins, WV, a son of Jodi Wood Washington of Buckhannon, WV and Jim Washington of Clarksburg, WV. Dustin enjoyed the simple things in life such as camping, swimming, tubing, fishing, and especially spending time with his family. He never minded a good challenge and approached it with wit.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Ronald V. and June H. Wood; paternal grandfather, Jimmy Chester and his aunt, Tammy Wood.

In addition to his parents, he is survived and sadly missed by stepmother, Nikki Washington of Clarksburg; four brothers, Arlan Washington of Buckhannon, Jim Washington. Jr. and Jarell Washington both of Youngstown, OH and Taylor Washington of Clarksburg, WV; two sisters, Jaymee Washington of Buckhannon and Kendra Clay of Youngstown; paternal grandmother, Audrey Saunders of Youngstown; uncle, Mitch Wood of Buckhannon; great-aunt and uncle, David and Lil Herod of Buckhannon; four cousins, Jerod Wood and Gillian Adams both of Buckhannon and Rynea Belcastro and husband Adam and Mason Belcastro all of Nutter Fort, WV and a host of other aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Family, friends, and others who Dustin touched will be received to reminisce, grieve, support each other, and of course chat on Saturday, October 14, 2023, from 1 PM to 3 PM at the Poling-St. Clair Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held at 3 PM. In honoring Dustin’s wishes, he will be cremated following the services.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the funeral home to help with funeral expenses. Online condolences may be made to the family at www.polingstclair.com. Poling-St. Clair Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
