Dorothy “Dot” Bishop Tenney, 77, of French Creek, W.Va., died Monday, September 28, 2020 at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Buckhannon, W.Va.
She was born January 15, 1943, in Richmond, Va., a daughter of the late Basil Gordon and Mary Ellen Paulus Bishop.
On July 14, 1963, she married Letcher Tenney who preceded her in death on October 28, 2014.
She is survived by two daughters, Laurie Evans and husband Randy and Mary Carol Tenney and Matt Patterson all of Blackstone, Va.; one son, Letcher Allen Tenney, Jr., of W.Va.; eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Tenney was a homemaker. In honoring her wishes she will be cremated.
