Donna Jean Marteney, 79, of McDermott Ridge Road, Buckhannon, died Wednesday, March 18, 2026, at her home. She was born in Clarksburg, West Virginia, on January 26, 1947, a daughter of the late James Charles and Vonda Louise Freed Leuliette.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one stepdaughter, Kelly Marteney.
She is survived by her husband, Jack L. Marteney; three sons, John Marteney and wife Stacy of Buckhannon, Scott Marteney and wife Susie of Fort Ashby, West Virginia, and Chuck Marteney and wife Janie of Buckhannon; one daughter, Terri Jo and husband Dale Bennett of Tallmansville; one stepdaughter, Jacklynn Shaw of Warner Robins, Georgia; thirteen grandchildren; sixteen great-grandchildren; two brothers, James “Pete” Leuliette of Bridgeport and Ronald Leuliette and wife Joyce of Lumberport; one sister, Jane Kissinger of Orange Park, Florida; and several nieces and nephews.
Donna was an active member of the Sand Run Baptist Church, TOPS, and was a past member of the Buckhannon Women’s Club. She loved assisting with church activities, reading, and spending time with her family.
A special thanks is extended by the family to WVU Hospice for their care and compassion.
The body will be cremated, and no public service will be held.
