Dennis Ray Starkey, age 73, of Nutter Fort, WV, died Saturday, September 24, 2022, at United Hospital Center in Bridgeport, WV.

He was born April 25, 1949, in Buckhannon, WV, a son of the late Garland and Eloise V. Tharp Starkey.

He is survived by his sister, Sandra V. Moscar of Clarksburg, WV; one niece, Michelle Bennett and husband Ron of Lumberport, WV; two nephews, Teddy Moscar, II and wife Robin of Stem, NC and Shawn Moscar of Clarksburg and several other nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

Mr. Starkey was a wood worker at the Work Adjustment Center.

Friends will be received Thursday, September 29, 2022, from 5 PM until 8 PM at the Poling-St. Clair Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held 11 AM Friday at the funeral home with Pastor Sam Cale, III officiating. Burial will follow in the Hampton Cemetery in Hampton, WV.
