Dennis Keith Spittler

Dennis Keith Spittler, 63, of Buckhannon, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, January 20, 2022.

He was born in Buckhannon on January 27, 1958, a son of the late Oral Oran and Beatrice Bernice Tiffner Spittler. Along with his parents, Dennis joined two brothers in Heaven: Rodrick Wayne Spittler and Otis Paul “Buddy” Spittler.

Forever cherishing their memories of Dennis’s charismatic nature are two daughters: Christen Dole of Felton, PA,  and Jessica Spittler of Havelock, NC; two grandchildren: Thomas Morris and Noah Morris; three brothers: Larry Edwin Spittler of Salem, WV, Kenneth Oran Spittler of Kevil, KY, and John Daniel “Danny” Spittler and wife, Sharon, of Miller, MD; two sisters: Nancy Mae McGinn and husband, Robert, of Salem, WV, and Goldie Ann Barnes of Valley Bend, WV; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Dennis was a Christian by faith and a self-trained welder. He worked for the Martin Marietta Corporation and his company, Dennis Welding and Fabrication, contracted for various gas companies for over 13 years. He served his country in the United States Army and riding his Harley Davidson brought him joy. Spending time with family in Pickens was yet another source of joy for Dennis.

Family and friends will gather for a Graveside Service at the Pickens Cemetery on Sunday, January 30, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. Interment will follow.

We, at Clutter Funeral and Cremation located at 21 Elnora Circle in Buckhannon, appreciate the service of Dennis Keith Spittler and are honored and privileged to serve his family. Online condolences may be expressed at www.ClutterFuneralHome.com.
