WESTON, W.Va. – Stonewall Jackson Memorial Hospital is pleased to notify the public that clinician, Debra Murray, FNC-BC is currently accepting new patients at the Lively Healthcare location.  Murray joined the medical staff of SJMH in July 2019 as a Population Health Coordinator, assisting with annual wellness exams and providing patients education on the importance of preventative screenings.

Before accepting the new position, she was an Emergency Room Charge Nurse at Davis Memorial Hospital in Elkins.

She is available Mondays from 8 a.m. – 6 p.m., Tuesday through Thursday 8 a.m. – 4 p.m. and Fridays 8 a.m. – 2 p.m. She sees a variety of ailments from patients of all ages ranging from newborns to the elderly. Murray can also treat patients for vaccination needs, chronic care illnesses and acute care needs.  

“I am able to provide care for both acute and chronic complaints at Lively,” Murray explained. “I have flexible hours and am happy to see patients of all ages.”

Jennifer Barnes, SJMH Chief Quality Officer, stated, “Debra Murray is a welcome addition to the medical staff of Stonewall Jackson Memorial Hospital. She is focused on assisting all patients she is in contact with on improving their health and wellbeing. She works closely with our Population Health Nurse, Sarah Rolenson, to educate and support patients with chronic illnesses. Patients who have established care with Debbie rave about her compassion and commitment to helping them improve their lives.”

Murray is a Lewis County High School graduate and received her BSN from Mountain State University. Her MSN degree was attained at Walden University. Prior to serving patients at SJMH, she served as a Nurse Practitioner for WV Gastroenterology. She is the daughter of the late Bob and Karen Bailey of Weston. She has two children, Joseph Spray, 18, and Abigail Spray, 17.
