Dawn Lynette Mench, age 61, of Buckhannon, formerly of Maryland, died Saturday, August 10, 2024, at J.W. Ruby Memorial Hospital. She was born on November 25, 1962, a daughter of the late Walter Mench and Mable Pearson Mench. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her brother Mikey Mench and her sister-in-law Kristin Mench.
She is survived by one sister Karen Timms and husband Dale of Centreville, MD; one brother Jeff Mench of Ridgley, MD; two nephews Jonathan Mench and spouse Kristen Shouinard, and Jordan Mench and wife Nicole; one niece Becky Timms; and several great nieces and great nephews.
Dawn enjoyed crafting, playing bingo, and taking care of others.
The body will be cremated and there will be no services.
