Curtis Dale Pierce

Curtis Dale Pierce, age 67, of Marion, Virginia, died Monday, June 3, 2024, at Bristol Regional Medical Center.

He was born April 26, 1957, in Marion, Virginia, a son of the late Helen Hutton. On July 29, 1977, he was united in marriage to Priscilla Peck Pierce, who survives. He is also survived by one stepdaughter Sandy Schneider and husband Paul of Texas; one son Brian Pierce and wife Crystal of Tennessee; one daughter Shawna Hancock and husband Dale Jr. of Virginia; seven granddaughters; two brothers: Michael McMillan and wife Angie of Kentucky, and Scott Hutton and wife Melinda of Virginia; four brothers-in-law: Larry Peck and wife Marsha of Buckhannon, Ed Peck of Rock Cave, Rick Peck and wife Debbie of Parkersburg, and David Peck of Rock Cave; three sisters-in-law: Louise Humphrey of Rock Cave, Tressie Wilson of Rock Cave, and Phyllis Cooper and husband Warren of French Creek; stepfather Marvin Hutton; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his granddaughter Hannah Hancock.

Curtis was a great husband and father. He loved driving truck, camping, and his dog Jax.

The family will receive friends on Friday, June 07, 2024, from 10 – 11 AM, the funeral hour, at Heavner and Cutright Funeral Chapel, with Pastor Rick Cutright officiating. Interment will follow in the Goshen Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the funeral chapel to help with funeral costs.
