BUCKHANNON — The Colonial Arts Center is excited to announce that it will begin offering weekly kids’ summer art classes on July 8.
All classes will be held Monday through Thursday at the CAC, located at 48 East Main Street in downtown Buckhannon. Separate sessions will be offered for two age groups: kids ages 5-10 and youth ages 11-15.
The cost is $80 per student per week ($20 per day), and scholarships are available for one student per class upon request, on a first-come, first-served basis.

Week 1 (July 8-11): Ancient Greek Mythology & Pottery, making paper mache pots & painting stories

- 12-2:30 p.m. — Ages 11-15
Week 2 (July 15-18): Experiments in Sculpture with Recycled Materials — A look at modern and contemporary artists
- 9-11:30 am — Ages 5-10

Week 3 (July 22-25): Cyanotypes & Block Printing
- 9-11:30 a.m. — Ages 5-10

Week 4 (July 29 -Aug 1): Fun with Drawing: Exploring experimental mark-making
