On Friday, March 22, 2024, Cleo P. Wingfield was called to her heavenly home.

Cleo was born on September 23, 1934, in Upshur Co., WV,  to the late Luther and Francis Heater. She was preceded in death by her husband, Gay E. Wingfield and son Bruce E. Wingfield. She was also preceded in death by five brothers, Gerald, Junior, James “Jack”, Harold, and Eugene Heater and three sisters, Genevieve Gregory, Mabel Davis and Shirley Gibson; and one surviving brother Johnny and wife Nina Heater of Vienna, Ohio.

Cleo is survived by two daughters, Vickie Dalenburg and husband Danny of Buckhanon and Judy Haskins and husband John of Buckhannon; one son, Chuck R. Winfield of Buckhannon; one daughter-in-law Lorrie Wingfield of Greensboro, NC.

Cleo was the proud grandmother of eight Grandchildren, eighteen great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild. She was a homemaker and member of Sago Baptist Church.

Friends will be received Monday, March 25, 2024, from 1 PM to 2 PM. A funeral service will be held Monday 2 PM at the Poling-St. Clair Funeral Home with the Rev. Wease L. Day officiating. Burial will follow in the Big Bend Cemetery in Sago, WV.
