City to close part of South Florida Street for two weeks

The City of Buckhannon’s Sanitary and Stormwater Sewer Department will be repairing an area of South Florida Street between Wood and Randolph streets. Work is scheduled to begin Monday, May 20 and last approximately two weeks.

That block of South Florida Street will be closed for the duration of the repair. Homeowners in that area should make plans accordingly to park behind their homes in the alley or on adjoining streets until the repairs are completed and the street is reopened.
