Capito statement on Thanksgiving

CHARLESTON, W.Va. – U.S. Senator Shelley Moore Capito (R-W.Va.) today issued the below statement ahead of the Thanksgiving holiday:

“This Thanksgiving, I am thankful for my health, the love and support of my family, and the privilege to represent West Virginians in the United States Senate. Having just come back from the Middle East, I’m especially reflective of all the blessings we collectively have here in the United States: that our country is not war torn and that we have freedoms enshrined in the Constitution that we far too often take for granted. As we join together with family and friends this Thanksgiving, take a moment to reflect on the many blessings we all have—as West Virginians and as Americans.”
