Canaan Valley Running Company announces race registration kick-off

DAVIS, W.V.a — The Canaan Valley Running Company recently announced the official opening of runner registration sign-ups for their 2022 season. Despite COVID-19 and pandemic related mandates, the 2021 season saw 1,600 runners participate in Canaan Valley Running Company races.

“We are excited to be launching our fourth racing season. The past two years have thrown a curveball to many events with the pandemic, but we feel that we are entering the year with a clean slate,” said Robby McClung, owner and founder of the Canaan Valley Running Company. “Despite the pandemic, runners were excited to participate in our races last year and we know this will be our best year yet!”

The 2022 race schedule includes:

4th Annual Canaan Valley Half Marathon, 10K and 5K
Canaan Valley Resort, Canaan Valley
April 30-May 1

The Inaugural Canaan Valley Trail Run
June 25
Canaan Valley Resort, Canaan Valley

Moonlight on the Falls Marathon
August 27-28
Blackwater Falls State Park, Davis, W.Va.

The 2022 race season is currently sponsored by Appalachian Timing Group, Canaan Valley Resort and Mountain Top Realty & Rentals.
