Calling all job seekers: Weyerhaeuser to hold on-site application assistance Dec. 9 and Dec. 14

BUCKHANNON – Weyerhaeuser will welcome new applicants with open arms during on-site application assistance and information sessions on December 9 and 14 at their Buckhannon location.

Weyerhaeuser is seeking full-time production and maintenance team members who are committed to safety and have a desire to work in a manufacturing facility while maintaining a positive attitude and good work ethic. Production associates will earn a starting wage of $17.48/hour. Industrial mechanics will earn a starting wage of $25.14/hour.

“Our goal is to create a thriving, inclusive work environment where all our people experience growth, feel valued for the contributions they make and get rewarded for results,” said Terry Shreves, Human Resources Manager at Weyerhaeuser in Buckhannon.

Job qualifications for full-time entry-level production associates:

  • A high school diploma or GED
  • Ability to successfully pass a pre-employment testing processing
  • Background check
  • Drug screening

Upon arrival at the Buckhannon location, interested candidates should check in with the guard, who will then direct applicants to the front office. There, applicants will be greeted and given a brief introduction into what Weyerhaeuser has to offer, including benefits and job growth opportunities. Applicants will need to have past employment history readily available (such as a resume) and an active email address to complete the online application process.
