Buster Lee Cutright

Buster Lee Cutright, 80, of the Stonecoal Lake Road, Buckhannon, died Monday, March 8, 2021, at the United Hospital Center in Bridgeport. 

He was born on April 7, 1940, in Philippi, a son of the late Henry and Mary Phillips Cutright. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by two brothers: Chestly Cutright and Henry (Junior) Cutright and two sisters:  Katherine Beaver and Nellie Jo Goodwin. 

On May 23, 1961, he was united in marriage to Carolyn Riffle Cutright, who survives. Also surviving are one son Bruce Cutright and wife Janet Harper Cutright of Jane Lew; one daughter Trecia and husband Larry Alderman of Buckhannon; four grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; two brothers:  Bud and Bob Cutright; and two sisters:  Teta Chidester and Alajean Humphrey.

Mr. Cutright had been employed by Union Drilling/Sam Jack for 35 years before his retirement.  He was an avid NASCAR fan and loved playing cards.

The body will be cremated and a private service held at a later date.
