Same-day primary care at St. Joseph’s Hospital, for the days your provider can’t see you

When a cold, the flu, or a minor injury can’t wait for a regular appointment, WVU Medicine St. Joseph’s Hospital offers same-day primary care for patients whose own provider is unavailable.

The same-day service treats non-life-threatening problems such as colds and flu, rashes, sprains and strains, cuts requiring sutures, and vomiting — an option short of an emergency room visit. Appointments are offered at the hospital’s primary care office at 94 W. Main Street, Building C, in Buckhannon.

WVU Medicine St. Joseph’s Hospital is a critical access community hospital and part of the WVU Medicine system, offering 24-hour emergency care, inpatient services, and outpatient clinics across central West Virginia.
