Buckhannon-Upshur High School hosting FAFSA workshop to help families navigate the financial aid process

BUCKHANNON — Buckhannon-Upshur High School and the WV Higher Education Policy Commission are hosting a FAFSA Workshop that will be an overview of scholarships, grants, other financial aid and the financial aid process. Get assistance in filing the 2024-2025 FAFSA.

The free workshop will be held on Thursday, February 8, from 5 to 7 p.m. Register, mark your calendars and join them! Event reminders will be sent via email from Eventbrite.

The informative session will cover the ins and outs of financial aid. Whether you are a student, parent or guardian, this event is designed to help you navigate the financial aid process, including the FAFSA, scholarships, grants and loans.

During this in-person workshop, one or more financial aid experts will be available to assist parents and students in completing the 2024-2025 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). Students and all parents are recommended to create an account (FSA ID) at StudentAid.gov three to five days before filling out the FAFSA.
