Upshur County Summer Basketball League closed Week Two with three days of Buccaneer and Bobcat Division action at WVWC. The regular season ends this week, with the postseason tournament tipping off Friday.
Walter Owen Tharp, 66, of French Creek, passed away on July 10, 2026, at the Louis A. Johnson V.A. Medical Center in Clarksburg. He was a truck driver, avid outdoorsman, and skilled handyman.
