Buckhannon Community Theatre to offer master class with Broadway star and Tony Award winner Wilson Jermaine Heredia

Buckhannon Community Theatre is excited to announce that Tony Award Winner Wilson Jermaine Heredia (best known for his portrayal of ”Angel Dumott Schunard “ in RENT) is coming to Buckhannon, WV! Wilson is also a highly in-demand master class instructor, and he is offering his expertise to Buckhannon Community Theatre!

Buckhannon Community Theatre is hosting an audition-style theatre performance master class with Wilson, where he will share how to be better musically prepared for auditions, as well as offer one-on-one coaching based on the musical selection each participant chooses to bring. This can be a fantastic opportunity for participants in the classes to build their skills with guidance from a Tony Award Winner!

Our Master Class will be Saturday, December 7, 2019, with two class sessions offered: Session One from 10:00 AM-11:40 AM, and Session Two from 1:30 PM-3:10 PM. Classes will be held in the basement of Chapel Hill United Methodist Church, 88 South Kanawha Street, Buckhannon. Participants will have 10-15 minute of one-on-one coaching from Wilson. If you aren’t comfortable with performing or participating in the class, you can still observe and learn from Wilson, as observation tickets are available. Everyone who participates or observes will have the chance to get a photo with Wilson after the class.

Participant tickets are limited and are available at $75.00. Observation tickets are available at $10.00 each. A special VIP package will also be available for an additional $25. This VIP packet includes an autographed 8×10 and admission to the Knorr Award, where Wilson will be performing a song with BCT (The Knorr Award, an annual award to spotlight an honoree who has greatly contributed to BCT, will be held on the night of December 7th, following completion of classes).
