Buckhannon Community Band invites musicians to Thursday rehearsals

The Buckhannon Community Band invites musicians, including former and lapsed players, to weekly Thursday rehearsals at 7 p.m. in the Buckhannon-Upshur Middle School band room and can provide instruments if needed.

The Buckhannon Community Band is inviting musicians to join its weekly rehearsals as it prepares for the holiday concert season.

According to a social media post, rehearsals are held each Thursday from 7 to 8:30 p.m. in the Buckhannon-Upshur Middle School band room.

The open call encourages former and lapsed players to dust off their instruments and return to ensemble playing. The band says it can provide an instrument for those who need one if they come to rehearsal.

Interested musicians are encouraged to stop by the B-U Middle School band room on Thursday nights at 7 p.m.
