Upshur County will host a public forum on temporary emergency shelters and comfort stations Wednesday, Feb. 19, 6–8 p.m. at the Buckhannon Public Safety Complex.
Upshur County Sheriff Mike Coffman told county commissioners his office made 281 felony arrests and 601 misdemeanor arrests in 2025. He also highlighted major drug seizures through the Mountain Region Drug and Violent Crimes Task Force, valued at more than $1.8 million.
