West Virginia voters ousted three appointed high-court judges despite hundreds of thousands of dollars spent by outside groups to keep them on the bench.

A Buckhannon man was arrested on multiple drug-related charges after police responded to a wreck on North Spring Street and allegedly found fentanyl in the vehicle. Additional charges stem from a December 2025 overdose where drugs were found nearby.
