Carolyn Teets, 77, of the Buckhannon community, passed away peacefully on May 13, 2026. Born in Elkins, WV, she was known for her kindness, love of motorcycles, and commitment to helping others in sobriety.

A Buckhannon man was arrested on multiple drug-related charges after police responded to a wreck on North Spring Street and allegedly found fentanyl in the vehicle. Additional charges stem from a December 2025 overdose where drugs were found nearby.
