BUCKHANNON — Volunteers working the Literacy Volunteers of Upshur County’s book sale said there was already a line of folks wanting to shop the book sale Friday morning when they arrived.

The book sale is the group’s major fundraiser and annually offers residents the chance to select from nearly 10,000 books to purchase.

The event wrapped up Saturday at noon and was held in the back of Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Buckhannon.
