Betty L. Ashcraft, age 83, of French Creek died Wednesday, August 9, 2023, at St. Joseph’s Hospital. She was born August 9, 1940, in Buckhannon a daughter of the late Emanuel and Credia Duke Tenney. She was united in marriage on November 18, 1955, to Charles P. Ashcraft, who preceded her in death on August 17, 2016. In addition to her parents and her husband she was also preceded in death by one son, Anthony Ashcraft, one daughter, Credia Ashcraft, and one granddaughter, Electra Ashcraft.
She is survived by three sons: Cory and wife Stacey Ashcraft and their two children Mason and Colt of French Creek, Charles Ashcraft of Cleveland, OH and Kenneth Ashcraft of North Royalton, Ohio; one daughter Mary Kirk and her two children Tim and April of North Royalton, Ohio; several grandchildren, great and great great grandchildren; one brother, Ed Tenney of Ohio; special friend Martha Landis.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to the skilled nursing care facility staff at St. Joseph’s Hospital for their special care.
Graveside services and interment will be held on Saturday, August 12, 2023, at 11:00 AM at the Mt. Olive Cemetery at Hinkleville with Pastor Greg Miller officiating.
