Betty Joann Elliott

Betty Joann Elliott, 67, of Rock Cave, WV, died Wednesday, January 5, 2022, at her home.

She was born May 17, 1954, in Upshur County, WV, a daughter of the late Arthur and Virginia White Dean.

On May 27, 1972, she married James Elliott who survives. Also surviving are four sons, Jimmy Elliott and wife Donna of Devola, OH, Michael Elliott and wife Angel of Vienna, WV, Steven Elliott of Bridgeport, WV and Jonathan Elliott and wife Shelby of Huntington, WV; one daughter, Debbie Lynn Perrine of Rock Cave, WV; three sisters, Karen Helsel and husband John of Felton, DE, Mary “Libby” Stump and husband John of Moorefield, WV and Anna Marie Smith of OH; six grandsons; seven granddaughters and one great granddaughter.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Robert “Bob” Lee White and Butch Dean.

Mrs. Elliott was a homemaker.

Friends will be received Sunday, January 09, 2022, from 11 AM to 1 PM at the Poling-St. Clair Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held 1 PM Sunday at the funeral home with Pastor David Jesse officiating. Burial will follow in the Macedonia Cemetery in Buckhannon, WV.
