After careful consideration, Buckhannon Community Theatre has decided to postpone its upcoming production of CLUE to Spring 2022. This decision was approved at the September Executive Board meeting, chiefly citing safety concerns regarding COVID-19. We sincerely regret having to cancel the production, but the welfare of our Community is our primary concern.
We have been in contact with our local and state officials regarding this decision and will continue to do so as we make ongoing choices regarding show selection, venues and dates. We have also been impacted by worldwide delays affecting construction and supplies.
We are planning to resume production with our 50th Anniversary Celebration in December 2021. An announcement regarding show details and our 2022 season will be forthcoming. We expect our 2022 season to be one of the strongest ever. We thank our patrons for patience and support during this time.
The next BCT Executive Board meeting is scheduled for October 4, 2021.
