The Buckhannon-Upshur High School Project Graduation committee will host an auction fundraiser on Thursday, March 19, at The Outpost & Event Center on Brushy Fork Road in Buckhannon. Bidding starts at 7 p.m., and the auction is open to the public — no ticket required.
Auctioneer Aaron Harris will lead the evening. Senior class members will be selling baked goods, and The Daily Grind will have food available as well.
“We have a nice selection of donated items from businesses and people in Upshur, Harrison, Lewis and Webster counties,” said Rebecca Dunlap with Project Graduation.
“There will be an assortment of items for men, women and kids.”
The event will support Project Graduation, a celebration held after the graduation ceremony that gives students a safe way to mark their achievement.
“The auction is 7 p.m. sharp, and no ticket is needed,” Dunlap said. “All proceeds go to B-UHS Project Graduation.”
