Arletta “Faye” Huddleston

Arletta “Faye” Huddleston, age 70, of Thurman Avenue, Buckhannon, went home to be with her heavenly father on Friday, December 15, 2023, at the United Hospital Center in Bridgeport after an extended illness. 

She was born in Baltimore, MD on March 25, 1953, a daughter of the late William “Bill” and Arletta “Ceil” Littleton.  In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by three sisters and one brother. 

She is survived by four children:  Kenneth William Huddleston and wife Beth of French Creek, Renee Dawn Huddleston of Parkersburg, Freedom Huddleston of Morgantown, and Joseph Drew Huddleston of Buckhannon; two grandchildren:  Erica and husband Zack Bennett of Buckhannon and Hunter Huddleston of Morgantown; three great grandchildren:  Kenley and Hudson Chidester and Rylan Bennett, all of Buckhannon; two sisters:  Jean Sheets of Huntington and Patsy Blake and husband of Weston; three brothers:  Larry Gambill of Jacksonville, FL, Randy Gambill and wife of Boston, and Forrest Littleton and wife of Galax, VA; and several nieces and nephews.

Faye worked and studied very hard to become a Registered Nurse and was employed as an RN for many years.  She was a Pentecostal by faith and attended the Living Word Church of God in Buckhannon.  Her family was special to her, all of whom she was very proud.

The family will receive friends on Monday, December 18, 2023, from 5-7:00 PM, at the Heavner & Cutright Funeral Chapel.  The funeral will be held on Tuesday, December 19, 2023, at 11:00 AM, at the Living Word Church of God, 16 Thurman Avenue, Buckhannon, WV.  Interment will follow in the Salem Ridge Cemetery.
