American Legion Post 7 invites veterans to ride on Veterans Day Parade float

The American Legion Post 7 is extending an invitation to all veterans and their immediate families to participate in the upcoming Veterans Day Parade by riding on the “best-looking float” in the parade.

Participants should gather near the Gibson Library, located at 105 E Main St. in Buckhannon, at 8:30 a.m. Look for the biggest and most patriotic float. Organizers recommend bringing chairs as the float will make its way to Jawbone Park, where the Veterans Day ceremonies will occur immediately following the parade.
