MORGANTOWN, W.Va. — Allegheny Metallurgical, a West Virginia-based metallurgical coal company, has announced a two-day job fair aimed at connecting both skilled workers and those exploring new career paths with high-quality opportunities within its organization. The event will be held at the Loft Conference Center in Morgantown on June 19 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and on June 20 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The job fair is designed to meet the company’s growing demand for talent as its operations continue to expand.

“We are looking forward to meeting with candidates who want to build a strong, stable career with our company and contribute to the future of West Virginia’s economy,” stated Eric Lipinski, chief operating officer at Allegheny Metallurgical. “This job fair is the perfect opportunity for individuals to engage with us directly and learn more about our open roles.”

Last year, Allegheny Metallurgical announced its re-entry to the market and commitment to the region through the investment of more than $1 billion in the company. At full operation, a team of more than 500 individuals is expected to be employed on site.

Individuals who attend the job fair can anticipate and be prepared for on-the-spot interviews with hiring managers, learn about training and career transition pathways, and receive information about company benefits, safety programs and long-term career opportunities.
