Violet A. Dean

Violet A. Dean, 61, of Buckhannon, W.Va., died Thursday, December 31, 2020, at the J.W. Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown, W.Va.

She was born September 5, 1959, in Buckhannon, a daughter of the late Samuel Foster and Emajean Lantz Foster Regester.

She is survived by her husband Randall Dean, Sr. of Buckhannon; two sons, Randall Dean Jr. and wife Vanessa and Dustin Dean all of Buckhannon; four granddaughters, Alexandria, Brooklynn, Harley and Jillian Dean all of Buckhannon; one brother, Melvin Junior Foster and wife Leona of Kanawha Head, W.Va.; four sisters, Marlene Gore and husband Donnie of Madison, Ohio, Myrtle Weese of Akron, Ohio, Judy Pullin of Conneaut, Ohio and Edna Rowan and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her step father, Carrel Regester and two brothers, George “Buck” and John Carl Foster.

Mrs. Dean was an office manager.

Friends will be received Friday, January 8, 2021, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Poling-St. Clair Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held 1 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will follow in the Macedonia Cemetery in Buckhannon.
