Fairmont State Collegiate Singers and Treble Chamber Ensemble to host virtual concert

The Fairmont State Collegiate Singers and Treble Chamber Ensemble will host a special online live streaming event on October 22 at 7:30 p.m. The choirs will perform a wide variety of music, conducted by Sam Spears, Director of Choral and Vocal Activities, and accompanied by John Morrison.  

The performance will feature music from a standard repertoire by composers including William Billings and Robert Schumann, to music theatre favorites by Rodgers and Hammerstein. 

Due to COVID-19 restrictions, there will not be a physical audience. Instead, the performance will be streamed to a wide remote audience. The concert will be held in Wallman Hall Theatre where proper social distancing and safety will be maintained. The concert will be recorded and available for later view in the event an unforeseen disruption in service takes place. 

The concert is free and will be streamed on the Fairmont State Department of Music Facebook page at facebook.com/FairmontDoM.
