The Alliance for the Economic Development of Southern West Virginia releases 2020 Snapshot: Southern West Virginia Small Business Leaders

The Alliance for the Economic Development of Southern West Virginia (Alliance) Operations Council Chair Sara Payne Scarbro today released Snapshot 2020: Southern West Virginia Small Business Leaders, a survey summary and highlights from about 150 business leaders in southern West Virginia.

“The Alliance partnered with several chambers of commerce as well as economic development authorities across southern West Virginia on this survey,” Scarbro said. “Hearing from business leaders directly is so critical to developing future programming and trainings that can meet their needs. This snapshot allows the Alliance to be a better partner and to create stronger connections in the communities in which we serve.”

The Alliance for the Economic Development of Southern West Virginia is a joint venture among West Virginia’s southern colleges and universities to better connect the educational resources and workforce training offered in southern West Virginia to promote the region, eliminate redundancies and share best practices, improve the quality of life for area residents, create jobs, keep West Virginia’s talent pool in the state and revitalize southern communities.
