Ruby Carol Quick, 74, of Buckhannon, W.Va., died Saturday, July 6, 2019 at the Pleasant Valley Nursing and Rehab Center, Point Pleasant, W.Va.
She was born May 20, 1945, in Upshur County, W.Va., a daughter of the late Roy Lee and Opal Boyles Cunningham.
On November 27, 1987 she married Ralph Quick who survives of Buckhannon. Also, surviving are two daughters, Lora Dearas of Charlotte, N.C. and Cynthia Moses and husband Matt of Point Pleasant; four grandsons, Andrew Coffman and wife Minerva of Charlotte, Shane Winchester of Statesville, N.C., Chase Moses and wife Hannah of Huntington, W.Va. and Nabil Elhajjaji of Charlotte; five granddaughters, Shala Lawson of Clarksburg, W.Va., Whitney Moses of Point Pleasant, Tori and Emily Moses both of Louisville, Ky. and Amirah Elhajjaji of Charlotte; seven great grandchildren; one brother, Ralph Cunningham of Alton, W.Va. and three sisters, Nina Monroe and husband Arnie of Buckhannon, Kay Jacks and husband Johnny of Daphne, Ala. and Linda Weaver and husband Rusty of French Creek, W.Va.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Larry Henline; one daughter, Kathleen Elhajjaji; four brothers, Jerry, Alan, Jim and Roger Cunningham and one sister, Tressie Depoy.
Mrs. Quick was a secretary. She was a member of the Elks Lodge 1736 in Buckhannon.
Friends will be received at the Poling-St. Clair Funeral Home on Wednesday, July 10, 2019 from 5 to 8 p.m. A funeral service will be held 10 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home with Pastor Scott Owens officiating. Burial will follow in the Heavner Cemetery in Buckhannon.
