BUCKHANNON – Mark your calendars and dust off those clubs!

The seventh annual Zach Post Memorial “Go Big or Go Home” Golf Tourney will tee off at Saturday, July 20 at 8 a.m. at the Buckhannon Country Club.

This year’s scramble-style tournament will feature four-person teams, and the cost is $50 per person, which includes cart, 18 holes and lunch. Participants have a chance to win $25,000 for any and all holes-in-one on hole 18; smaller prizes will be available on the other par 3 holes.

Please register teams directly on the Facebook event page (Search “7th Annual Zach Post Memorial ‘Go Big or Go Home’ Golf Tourney) or contact Johnny Meadows at 304-280-1091. Please submit registrations as soon as possible.

As a friendly reminder, the course and carts are being generously donated by country club’s private members. Please remember proper course and golf etiquette.

All proceeds will go to the nonprofit organization, the Gauley River Boys, to fund a scholarship for local graduating seniors focused on pursuing a career in mental health services. The focus of Gauley River Boys, Inc. is to fund efforts for suicide prevention and awareness in our community. Last year we awarded $10,000 in scholarships! Please spread the word!

If you know of any individuals or businesses that would like to become a sponsor for the event or contribute to our silent auction, please refer them to Johnny Meadows, Matt McCourt, Jacob Bucher, Sloan Baisden or Zach Allman.
