Parish House seeking administrative assistant

BUCKHANNON – On the lookout for a part-time job with an agency that’s primary mission is to give back to the Buckhannon-Upshur community?

The Upshur Parish House and Crosslines, LLC, has an immediate opening for an administrative assistant.

Parish House Director Alicia Rapking said the agency, a mission project of the West Virginia Conference of the United Methodist Church, is seeking someone who’s able to fill a part-time position 24 hours a week.

The administrative assistant will work during public hours.

A high school diploma is required, and some college is preferred, Rapking said. And while office management and bookkeeping skills are a must, knowledge of QuickBooks software is preferred.

Please send a cover letter and resume to the attention of Alicia Randolph Rapking at 68 College Ave., Buckhannon, WV 26201. Applications may also be dropped off at the Parish House; however, mail is preferable.
