James “Jim” Huffman Davis

James “Jim” Huffman Davis, 66, of Buckhannon, W.Va., died Monday, April 15, 2019, at Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown, W.Va.

He was born Dec. 10, 1952, in Buckhannon a son of the late Charles and Nancy Huffman Davis.

On Nov. 26, 1983, he married Debbie Nicola who survives.

Also surviving are four daughters, Jamie McCourt, Chelsea Loudin and husband Josh, Isabella Davis and Jenna Davis all of Buckhannon; five sons, Dash, Asher, Drake and Brody Davis and Isaiah Powers all of Buckhannon; two granddaughters, Lilly Snider of Buckhannon and Haley Loudin of Ohio; one grandson, Odin McCourt of Buckhannon; two brothers, Chuck Davis and wife Diane of Fla. and Rod Davis and wife Jamie of Buckhannon; sister-in-law, Mindy Gaylor and husband Les of Texas; several nieces and nephews and his beloved dogs Mila and Halo.

Mr. Davis was a machine operator for Armstrong Flooring and was a member of the South Buckhannon Mission Church. He was inducted into the Buckhannon-Upshur High School Hall of Fame as a member of the 1969 football team and was an avid LSU fan.

A private graveside burial will be held at a later date.
