Mary Kimberly “Kim” Moore

Mary Kimberly “Kim” Moore, 54, passed away on Wednesday, April 10, 2019 in Morgantown following an extended illness.

Kim was born on May 21, 1964 in Buckhannon a daughter of Rebecca Ann Lanham Moore and the late Theodore Moore.

In addition to her father, Kim was preceded in death by one brother, Ted Moore; grandmother, Elizabeth Lanham; special uncle, Joe Lanham; and several other aunts and uncles.

Left to cherish their memories of Kim are her mother, Rebecca Moore of Volga; beloved daughter, Becka Dean; grandson, Jensyn; step grandaughter, Sarah; and step grandson, Thomas, all of Gulfport, Miss.; two sisters: Elizabeth Mokuiki and husband, Ernie, of Kennewick Wash., and Christie Snider and husband, Mike, of Elizabeth, W.Va.; three nephews: Matthew Wilkes, and Seth and Wade Villers; three nieces: Tiffany Wilkes, Candace Rachal, and Nicole Moore; and many great nieces and nephews.

Kim was a firecracker with a free spirit and a heart of gold. She worked hard and was a dedicated, loving mother and grandmother. The love for her family extended to her loyal dogs, Bo and Luke and her many good friends. She will be greatly missed by all that loved her.

Kim loved her job as a welder and getting her hands dirty in the garden. She also enjoyed music, animals and the outdoors. Surely, she is basking in the sun on Heaven’s beach.

In lieu of flowers, memorials in Kim’s name can be made to the National Pancreas Foundation at 3 Bethesda Metro Center, Suite 700 Bethesda, MD, 20814, or to the Upshur County Humane Society at 318 Mud Lick Rd. Buckhannon, WV, 26201.

Family and friends will gather at Tomblyn-Clutter Funeral and Cremation located at 21 Elnora Circle in Buckhannon from noon–2 p.m. on Sunday, April 14, 2019. Funeral Services will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday in the Tomblyn-Clutter Funeral Chapel with Pastor Pam Moore officiating. Following the services Kim’s request for cremation will be honored.
