Stonewall Resort’s “Winter Wanderlust” series features three special February weekend events

WESTON, W.Va. – Stonewall Resort will continue its 2019 Winter Wanderlust event series in February with three unique and fun-filled weekend experiences created to provide the perfect escape from the winter doldrums. The events include: Wine & Jazz Night (Feb. 2); Romantic Rendezvous Valentine’s Celebration (Feb. 14, 15, 16); and, the Stonewall sigNATURE Craft Beer Debut & Dinner (Feb 23).

“We’ve received tremendous response for our Winter Wanderlust event series as these winter getaways are perfect for couples or individuals interested in experiencing unique food and beverages with people they love in a cozy setting,” said Andre’ D’ Amour, general manager at Stonewall Resort.

Wine & Jazz Night – Feb. 2

Amazing food, delightful wine and wonderful live jazz music set the stage for a fun and relaxing evening out. This special event starts at 6pm with a welcome glass of rosé. Dinner will begin around 6:30 p.m. featuring three courses, each expertly paired with a unique wine. As guests dine, contemporary jazz band Decon Blues will provide musical entertainment and following dinner, the music will liven up into the night for you to enjoy from your table or from the dance floor.

Packages start at $337 per couple and are inclusive of overnight accommodations in the resort’s recently renovated Adirondack-style lodge, as well as entry to the event, dinner, wine and jazz.

Romantic Rendezvous Valentines Celebration – Feb. 14, 15, 16

Offering the perfect Valentine’s getaway, the Romantic Rendezvous celebration is available the nights of Feb. 14, 15, or 16 and includes overnight lodging in the resort’s lakeside lodge, specially curated dinner buffet for two in Stillwaters, delectable assortment of Petits Fours, bottle of Champagne delivered to the room, and breakfast for two the following morning. The package starts at just $309 per couple.

Stonewall sigNATURE Craft Beer Debut & Dinner – Feb. 23

Stonewall Resort’s culinary team and West Virginia’s own Parkersburg Brewing Company come together to host a four-course beer pairing dinner and the debut of the resort’s sigNATURE Craft Beer lineup. This intimate event begins with a surprise “welcome beer” from Parkersburg Brewing in a souvenir Stonewall snifter glass at 6pm, followed by a plated dinner at 6:30 p.m., in which guests will be the first to try the new brews. Resort executive chef Nevil Barr and Parkersburg brew master Dan Curtis will be on hand to guide guests through each course and pairing.

The cost for the event is $319 per couple and includes entry to the culinary event, four-course dinner paired with a signature beer and overnight accommodations in the lodge.
