Sam’s Pizza will hold its fourth annual Sam’s Pizza Day for PanCAN on Sunday, Nov. 1, at 9 Southfork Plaza Drive in Buckhannon. A portion of each order will go to the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network for research.
Owner Sam Nolte chose Nov. 1 because it was his father Bob Nolte’s birthday. Bob died of pancreatic cancer in 2015 at age 68. Sam has donated nearly $3,000 during the past three years, according to the release from Annette Fetty-Santilli of PanCAN.
The release does not give event hours.
