West Virginia holds its general election November 3. Registered voters can use the Secretary of State’s polling-place lookup to find where to vote. The October 19 release does not give Election Day polling hours, so none are listed here. The voter registration deadline was October 13.
The Secretary of State’s October 19 release says photo identification is required for the November 3 general election, with exceptions under state law. Its examples include a West Virginia driver’s license or state ID; another state’s driver’s license; a U.S. passport or passport card; government employee photo ID; photo student ID from a West Virginia high school or institution of higher education; U.S. military photo ID; a photo voter registration card issued by a West Virginia county clerk or the Secretary of State; and a DMV identification without a photo for voters who affirm membership in a recognized religious community that prohibits photographs. See GoVoteWV for identification requirements and sample ballots.
