The Post Family Nonprofit holds the annual Zach Post Memorial Food Drive and Bake Sale on Saturday, October 17, in the Body Armor MMA lot on Vicksburg Road. The sale starts at 9 a.m. and runs until everything is sold, according to the organizers’ listing.
Baked goods and Brenda’s fudge will be for sale. A Facebook post promoting the sale lists peanut butter fudge, Kahlua cake, homemade chocolate chip cookies, lemon cake, caramel apple bars, triple chocolate cake, a zero-sugar yellow cake with icing, and pineapple, peach and apple dump cakes. Proceeds help provide holiday food baskets for local families through the Parish House and Feed My Sheep and stock community blessing boxes.
