WVU Medicine St. Joseph’s Hospital and BlaineTurner Advertising have been recognized as Winners in the 32nd Annual Communicator Awards for the “WVU and Community” campaign. The project earned recognition in the Film & Video – Medical & Pharma category for its authentic storytelling and focus on the hospital’s strong connection to the communities it serves.
The Communicator Awards honor excellence, effectiveness, and innovation across all areas of communication. The competition receives thousands of entries each year from agencies, production companies, organizations, and creative professionals around the world.
The award-winning campaign highlighted the strong relationship between St. Joseph’s Hospital and the community it serves, emphasizing access to trusted, high-quality healthcare close to home.

The campaign focused on authentic storytelling and community-centered messaging to demonstrate how local healthcare providers make a meaningful difference in the lives of patients and families.
