CHARLESTON, W.Va. — The field is set for the 2025 Mountain East Conference Baseball Championship.
Point Park University is the No. 1 overall seed as the MEC North Division champion. The Pioneers were followed in the final regular season standings by Frostburg State and Fairmont State.
In the South, the University of Charleston is the top seed, followed by West Virginia State and Concord, the latter of which made the six-team field via tiebreaker.
The five-day tournament begins Wednesday at GoMart Ballpark in Charleston, West Virginia.
Point Park, which finished with the MEC’s best regular season record at 22-6, will open tournament play Wednesday against Concord at 3:30 p.m. In Wednesday’s Game 2, UC will face Fairmont State at 7 p.m.
In the first game on Thursday, scheduled for 10 a.m., West Virginia State will match up with Frostburg State.
