Erma M. Booth Holley

Erma M. Booth Holley, 82, of Buckhannon, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Friday, December 6, 2024. She was with her loving husband, Earl Junior Holley, at her passing. They shared 62 years of marriage.

She was born in Philippi, West Virginia on December 29, 1941, daughter of Porter Booth and Velma Chapman Booth. In addition to her husband, she is survived by her two sons: Tim Holley and wife Pam Holley of Lumberport, West Virginia, and Jonathan Holley and wife Sherry Holley of French Creek, West Virginia.

She will be greatly missed by all her grandchildren and great-grandchildren: Brandi Aceves and husband Paco Aceves, Madison McVay, Liam Aceves, and Ava Aceves of Albuquerque, New Mexico; Natasha Wamsley and husband Tyler Wamsley, Eli Wamsley, and Zeke Wamsley of Morgantown, West Virginia; Anthony Holley and wife Amanda Holley, Alayna Holley, and Alaura Holley of Pace, Florida: TJ Holley and wife Mikayla Holley, Collin Holley, and Brayden Holley of French Creek, West Virginia; Shayna Hurst-Rodney and husband Darius Hurst-Rodney of Winter Park, Florida; and Gracie Holley of Lumberport, West Virginia. She is also survived by two sisters: Joyce Ketchum of Philippi, West Virginia, and Judy Rives and husband Mark Rives of Germantown, Maryland. She is preceded in death by her parents and two sisters Dolly Cavallo and Betty Snyder.

Erma loved baking and making candy for friends and family and was famous for her “Mamaw” cookies that she made with love for her grandchildren. She was always ready to go on road trips and go shopping. She was a member of Mt. Lebanon United Church for many years.

The family will receive friends at the Heavner and Cutright Funeral Chapel on Monday, December 9, 2024, from 4-6 PM. Funeral services will be held at the Funeral Chapel on Tuesday, December 10, 2024, at 11:00 AM with Dr. Justin Bowers officiating. Interment will follow in the Mt. Lebanon Church Cemetery.
