Phyllis Nickerson

Phyllis Nickerson, age 80, of Buckhannon, WV, originally of Maine, died Monday, June 3, 2024, at her home.

She was born June 24, 1943, of Houlton, ME, a daughter of the late Wayne Allen and Edith Johnston Nickerson. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one sister, Linda Marie Nickerson.

She is survived by her four children, Lynette L. Beauvais-Roby of French Creek, Ralph Charles Beauvais II and wife Shelly of Tampa, FL, Chantelle Beauvais and husband Rob Sipprell of Charlotte, NC and Monique M. Beauvais; fourteen grandchildren, Tyson D., Kaleb H., Liam B., Saige E., Landon K. and Keana A. Roby and Jazlen R. Nickerson all of French Creek, Sierra N. Shrieves of Clarksburg, WV, Ava E. and Emily A. Beauvais both of Tampa, Arianna A. Roby, Ashanti R. Roby of Buckhannon, James P. Kelly and Aidan Q. Kelly of Charlotte, and one sister, Marilyn Simpson.

Phyllis was a legal secretary for the Bridgeport Police Department. More commonly known as “Grammy,” she loved the beach boys, Neil Diamond, Dean Martin, Andy Williams music and hummingbirds were her favorite. She loved black eyed Susan’s and the smell of a lilac bush, growing fresh vegetables, reading, writing and photography. She was an amazing mother and grandmother and had a smile that could light up a room. She loved lobster and steak and the beach. She loved her family more than anything in the world.

Graveside service will be held 11 AM Thursday, June 6, 2024. Online condolences may be made to the family at www.polingstclair.com.
