A New Era for Conde & Malone Family Dentistry

BUCKHANNON — After 11 years of practice, the long-time friends and colleagues of Conde & Malone Family Dentistry have announced that they will become two independent offices, dedicated to continuing to serve their beloved patients and the community of Buckhannon.

Malone Family Dentistry will remain in the original location at 546 Route 20 South Rd (across from Buckhannon-Upshur Middle School) under the leadership of Dr. Matthew Malone and his staff.

On Monday, April 1, Conde Family Dental will open at 266 Rt 20 South Rd (old Shoe Show building) with Dr. Maggie Conde and her father, Dr. Kevin Conde, along with their respective team of hygienists and administrative staff.

Growth and change have been a part of the original office since it was founded 46 years ago in 1978, when Dr. Stephen Johns opened as a solo practice. Four years later, he welcomed Dr. Kevin Conde, and in 1982, the practice became Johns and Conde, DDS. 

Then, in 2013, the office was renamed Conde and Malone Family Dentistry when Dr. Johns retired and sold his interest in the practice to Dr. Matthew Malone. Dr. Maggie Conde came on board as an associate in 2020 and will lead Conde Family Dental in the new office, giving both practices the space needed to serve their loyal patients while welcoming new clients for many years to come. 

Over the years, the practice has been a valuable part of this community, mentoring WVU School of Dentistry interns, employing dedicated professionals and serving thousands of valued patients. 

The Conde & Malone families look forward to the continued privilege of offering quality, professional and personal care that their patients have come to know and love.
