Stonewall Resort partners with FMG Inc. to introduce new lakeside winter skating rink

Weston, W.Va. – Stonewall Resort is thrilled to announce the opening of its latest winter attraction, a captivating 2,500 square-foot synthetic skating rink situated on the Resorts Patio overlooking the lake.

Starting November 23rd, overnight guests and day visitors can take to the rink on a frosty adventure during regular operating hours on Thursdays and Fridays from 2 pm to 10 pm, Saturdays from 10 am to 10 pm, and Sundays from 10 am to 6 pm.

Stonewall Resort invites the local community to a grand opening celebration on November 29th, from 4 pm to 6 pm. This festive event will feature a ceremonial ribbon cutting to officially open the rink, followed by a community skate party. Skating will be available at a discounted rate of $15 per person, which includes skate rentals, complimentary hot chocolate, and live entertainment by DJ Byron 66 Cooper.

“We are not just introducing a skating rink; we are creating a winter destination for our community to come together and celebrate the season,” remarked Andre’ D’Amour, Stonewall Resort General Manager. “We invite everyone to join us for the ribbon cutting and community skate—an evening of joy, laughter, and shared moments.”

Regular ticket prices for two-hour skating sessions remain $25 per person and includes skate rentals. Children under 12 must have a supervising adult on the rink.
